Fever, music and more...

Bed ridden one week ago, with high fever and acute pain all over the body. We feared dengue, but eventually it was just a “viral fever”, followed by stomach pains (and more… lost 3 kgs).

Last weekend was more fun, with an “apero” of the francophone group, and a fantastic concert at IIT on Saturday, featuring “Karuna Kshetra”, an astonishing mix of Western jazz and South Indian Carnatic music. It’s my jazz revelation of the year, together with Terez Montcalm in Marseilles last summer.

Clouee au lit il y a une semaine, avec une forte fievre et des douleurs partout… Suspicion de dengue, mais ce n’etait qu’une fievre virale, suivie de problemes intestinaux qui m’ont valu 3 kgs en moins…

Sur une note plus gaie, le weekend dernier nous avons eu un apero de Delhi Accueil, et samedi soir un concert fantastique du groupe “Karuna Kshetra” un etonnant mélange de musique jazz et de musique carnatique de l’Inde du Sud. Voir les sites ci-dessus, mais je n’ai pas trouve d’enregistrements, c’est dommage. C’est ma revelation jazz de l’annee, avec Terez Montcalm au festival des Cinq Continents a Marseille.
